DESCRIPTION: Illinois Watch Co., Springfield, Illinois, "Bunn Special", 18 size, 21 jewels, stem wind and lever set, adjusted to 6 positions, temperature and isochronism, spider web damascened nickel plate movement, with lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, double roller, gold jewel settings, gold timing screws and whiplash micrometric regulator, in a yellow gold filled, screw back and bezel open face case, and Arabic numeral with outer red 5-minute markers, double sunk white enamel dial, blued steel spade and poker hands, serial #2295181, c1910
CONDITION: CASE: Shallow dent, back; Dings and pin pricks; Scratches on outer surface of case; Minor scratches on inner surface of case; Gold filled with minor brassing; Bezel does not screw down tight to band; Bow replaced. DIAL: Hairlines in enamel, very light, 12:30, 6:00, seconds bit; Small flakes in enamel less than the size of a grain of rice, edge between 1:00 and 2:00; Flakes in enamel concealed by bezel; Scratches minor to dial. HANDS: Minor spots of oxidation. MOVEMENT PLATES: A few minor scratches on plate, otherwise very good; Minor spots of oxidation on regulator. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks), low amplitude; Hairspring not centered.
